ABOUT ME

Macarena Abad is a full-blooded Spanish actress, born and raised in Córdoba, Spain. At the age of eighteen she took off to Madrid to study Audiovisual Communications at UCM and Acting at Iñaki Aierra School Of Dramatic Arts, with a focus on the Method. In her Junior year she interned at Aligned Entertainment-Los Angeles for three months. After returning to Spain and obtaining her Bachelors she decided to relocate to Los Angeles and take her passion to greater heights.

In three years in Los Angeles, Macarena has trained at the Actors Comedy Studio, the Meisner Technique at Playhouse West, Improv Comedy at Playhouse West Comedy and Upright Citizens Brigade, and Cold Reading at The Lyndon Technique.  Her training and motivation has not only enriched her artistic freedom to be the actress she is now, but it also has led her to get a Post-Graduate Diploma in Entertainment and Media Management at UC Riverside in association with The Los Angeles Film School, perform in several films, music videos, fashion modeling, short and long-form Improv shows, got awarded at the “10 Minute Theatre Festival”, and work with Midwest Talent Management where she is currently signed.

She is very excited about the upcoming projects, sharing them with you and grateful for all the love and support of her family and friends.
